  • Burnt Lime is also known as ‘quick lime’ or ‘unslaked’. Burnt Lime is a highly reactive calcium oxide suitable for roading construction, steel manufacture, paper manufacture and sludge stabilisation
  • Typically burnt lime is available as a CaO, with particle sizes ranging between 3mm – 25mm
  • Our ability to completely volatize limestone means we produce the optimum burnt lime

  • Graymont's Burnt Lime consists of calcium oxide combined with small amounts of calcium carbonate and silica 
  • Burnt Lime is manufactured by heating calcium carbonate (limestone) to high temperature (greater than 1200°C) within a kiln system
  • Product is supplied in different size gradings from finely ground to coarse material as required
